This Privacy Policy describes how UpShot POS, a subsidiary of Alante Credit Card Acceptance Technology LLC ("UpShot POS," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects the personal information of our users ("you" or "user") and customers. This Privacy Policy applies to our point-of-sale (POS) software, hardware, credit card processing services, website, mobile applications, and any related services (collectively, the "Services").

Exclusion for SMS: The categories above exclude mobile phone numbers and text-messaging (SMS) opt-in consent. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile opt-in information or SMS consent with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
4. SMS / Text Messaging Program
If you opt in, UpShot POS sends transactional text messages, on behalf of the restaurant where you placed an order, in the following cases: (1) a notification when your order is ready for pickup or out for delivery, if you check the SMS opt-in box at checkout; (2) a copy of your receipt, sent only when you request it be texted to you; and (3) a link to activate a gift card you purchased, sent only when you request it. These are transactional messages, not marketing.
Consent: Consent is not a condition of purchase. For order-ready alerts you opt in by actively checking an unchecked SMS consent box at checkout; for a receipt copy or gift-card activation link, your request that it be sent to your number is your consent for that single message.
Message frequency and cost: For order-ready alerts, message frequency is one message per order. Receipt and gift-card messages are sent only on your request. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out and help: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from order-ready texts at any time, or reply HELP for assistance.
Data handling: Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are used solely to deliver these messages. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile opt-in information or SMS consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
5. Your Choices and Rights
You have the following choices and rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: You have the right to correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
- Deletion: You have the right to request that we delete your personal information.
- Objection: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information for certain purposes, such as marketing.
